What is the Blood Pressure Reading?

How to read blood pressure? There are 2 readings on the device that you can purchase on-line or at nearest pharmacy.

  1. Upper reading: Systolic mm Hg
  2. Bottom reading: Diastolic mm Hg

If the systolic reading is 130 mm Hg and diastolic 80mm Hg, you already have high blood pressure. Get a doctor’s consultation to get 2 ways: –

  1. Recording the readings daily.
  2. Or if your doctor has confirmed you are a hypertension patient, you should immediately take hypertension medication.

How to Overcome High Blood Pressure / Hypertension

These are advice for those who would like to overcome high blood pressure, a serious health if not taken seriously.

  1. Start Exercise: Do light exercise first such as a brisk walk for 45 minutes every day. Don’t start with high intensity sports activities as every movement you make even climbing stairs will increase blood pressure.
  2. Take the Medication: The hypertension medications do not give you side effects or make you worse. The medications can lower your blood pressure to normal. Get a doctor’s consultation if your blood pressure reading does not drop to normal levels even after several weeks of taking the medicine.
  3. Balance diet: In addition to regular exercise, you must adopt a balanced diet because food factors are a major contributor to humans getting hypertension.
  4. Get Enough Sleep: Get enough sleep at least 9 hours every day so that you look fresh the next day. Getting enough sleep can help you lower your high blood pressure readings.
  5. Do a lot of Dhikr and Pray to Allah: Apart from taking medicine and other endeavors, always recite dhikr and pray to Allah S.W.T to find solace and abstain from any illness.
  6. Don’t Get Too Emotional: Don’t be too emotional if there is a vehicle squeezing us or upset with the favorite football team not winning an important match. Excessive emotions are not good for us.
  7. Practice a Healthy Lifestyle: A healthy lifestyle is the key to preventing us from getting any disease. Be a person who does not hurt others and is always tolerant in things.
  8. Stop smoking: The high content of toxins in cigarette tobacco can cause our body to become worse. In addition to giving us illness, cigarette smoke also harms the people around you.
  9. Stop Drinking Alcohol: Stopping drinking alcohol is something that is always stressed by doctors if you are a hardcore drunkard.
  10. Reduce Caffeinated Drinks: Drink less coffee and tea because high caffeine can increase your hypertension.
  11. Perform Regular Blood Pressure Checks: Always see a doctor and get advice on how to stabilize and lower your reading.
